Before we leave

Today was our final class meeting. We had dramatic safety briefings, essential administrative information, and detailed accounts of our trip itinerary. We were also delegated various roles to perform during the trip. It is definitely very exciting!! And I can’t wait for the trip itself. I think for many of us, it is our first time in Ahmedabad. So no matter what, there is plenty to learn and take away from the various interactions with partner organizations, communities and community leaders. I’m definitely looking forward to enjoying myself and also expanding my ideas of community development.
